Originally aground-floor bathroom, this space was thoughtfully reimagined into a practical and stylish laundry room tailored to the client’s everyday needs. As the bathroom was no longer essential, the brief focused on maximising functionality while keeping the design light, elegant, and cohesive with the rest of the home.

The new laundry room now features ample storage for cleaning supplies, a rail for air-drying clothes, a washing machine, and countertop space for folding laundry. Bright white cabinetry paired with gold hardware and soft decorative touches brings both charm and functionality to this compact space.

Before, this space served as a dated ground-floor bathroom, with little functionality and no connection to the client’s daily needs. It felt underused and lacked the light, organised feel that a busy family home required.

After the redesign, the room was completely transformed into a bright and practical laundry area. Custom cabinetry provided ample storage, while a wooden countertop created both warmth and workspace for folding clothes. Elegant herringbone tiling, gold hardware, and thoughtful styling touches brought charm and character. With dedicated space for appliances, drying rails, and everyday essentials, the once redundant bathroom is now a light, modern, and beautifully functional laundry room.
